When you use V-Ray Animation (prepass)/Animation (rendering) mode, you let Rendercore Inc. compute all the Irradiance maps for the animation. The process is split into two scene files.

The first scene is used to compute all the .vrmap files(one for each frame).

The second scene does the actual rendering. Each rendered frame uses as it's Irradiance map an interpolation between the previously rendered .vrmap files.

1st Scene: (Animation Prepass) Set Up

Set the Mode to Animation (prepass) in your irradiance map settings. Set the irradiance map to a specific drive, except for the C drive. If you only have the C drive, then you can manually change the path in your scene.

For the following example, we set the path the D drive. Then log in to your ftp account and mimic the scene's path.

In your render settings, go to the V-Ray Bridge-> Option-> Indirect Illumination. Uncheck the Don’t render final image setting.

Please make sure that the irradiance map names between the first project (prepass) and the second project (rendering) are named the same. The names must be identical for the second project to find the .vrmap files created by the first project.

2nd Project: (Animation Rendering) Set Up

Set the Mode to Animation (rendering) in your irradiance map settings.

Our job management system is fully automated. Once both files have been set up, you can log in to our website and submit your job through our website.
